Hello
fellow bloggers,
If
you’re wondering what the pictures are for this week it will all make sense
soon.
I’m
going to open up this week’s post with a simple question: What did you do this
week to better someone else’s life? It’s a simple question that many followers don’t
seem to have an answer to. Well, how about if I asked how many of you saw the
Chicago Bulls game last night? How many of you would have commented with
highlights and input about the game? (Which was a great game by the way!).
The
point I am trying to get at is, how quickly we can sit in front of the TV and
watch our favorite team play but when it comes to help our community we are
often lazy and unenthusiastic.
So,
to answer my own question this week, I was part of a massive group of
volunteers who helped paint, lay grass, build and clean up the new Boys and
Girls Club.
Luckily,
the Chicago Bulls have been doing enough helping the last few weeks for all of
us, and their ready to show us their hard work. The Bulls have been working
hand in hand with The Boys and Girls Club to create a new unit in the metro
area of Chicago. The grand opening is set for January 3rd, 2014, so
get ready to join myself, the team and the Bull’s organization to celebrate
with a team cookout followed by a player meet and greet. There is still a lot
of work to do and both the Chicago Bulls and The Boys and Girls Club need your
help to finish the new unit. Click the link below to find out how you can help.
