Who is he and what’s he doing here?
Two very simple questions with not such simple answers. Like
any questions that need answering its best to implement the divide and concord
method, so that’s just what Ill do.
Who is he? My name is Brandin Michael Deoliveira and I’m 22
years old, I have lived in glorious Florida sense I was seven and love it. I’m
“salt life” all the way. I attended middle school and high school in Palm
Coast, Florida and I am proud to call myself a FPCHS Bulldog. I graduate in
2010 and like most teens at the time college after school was not a top
priority for me. So, I enter the work force and did very well for myself. I
received promotion after promotion in a field that I liked but wasn’t in love
with. Some were in between all that I found my wife Andrea, my biggest support
system and number one fan.
We now have that answer, but what’s he doing here? That’s
not so simple. One day wheal I was at my mothers house I was complaining about
my work week and she said something to me that I will never forget she said “Brandin,
if you don’t like what you’re doing now you never will”, could I really spend
the next 40 years of my life doing the same task over and over again, I needed
change. Her words stuck with me for the next couple of days, I thought about
what she said at work at the gym and even on the drive to the dentist. Then it
hit me Full Sail, I attended an open house in 2009 and really enjoyed the
programs they had to offer. So I made what I call today the single most
important phone call of my life, the phone call for my future. As most people
will say it the rest is history, kind of.
So, Brandin, why the Blog? That’s a simple question too. I
have just entered my final year at Full Sail and this year is all about putting
what you know and learned to the test. As most of my work in my current career revolves
around media and marketing this poses a great opportunity for me to develop my
brand, the brand of Brandin Deoliveira.
